Studio Photos

“Wherever you go, there you are” made me laugh when I first heard it, but gradually it has become my mantra as a photographer. 

I’ve taken so many photos over the years of this one place, Prosperi Studio, that even I am stunned how I never tire of the experience of making images of Warren at work, paintings in progress, and visitors viewing both on-site.  The subtle changes of time, process, light, and visitors, offer surprising intersections of each.

I offer a sampling of the many images I’ve taken over the years.  In many ways I feel a connection with all street photographers who find a place that keeps calling them back, and somehow never gets “old.”
